The Condition of Being Perfect

Via Flickr:
This picture was inspired by Alfred Tennyson’s “The Lady of Shalott,” where , one interpretation, says that in order to be a great artist, producing perfect work, you have to keep yourself distant from the rest of the world.

So, my idea for this photo was to be blinded from the world, but, only seeing paint (which symbolizes my talent).

And, I have to say how difficult this was.
I was alone.
No one to help me.
I literally couldn't see anything, and if i tried to, I would get paint on everything. So, I was blinded, walking around, praying to goodness that something at least workable came out.

So, under the circumstances, I don't think it came out that bad.

*I’m also turning this into a series (my first :) which makes me happy).
*and sorry for being absent and whatnot. school and all. what can you do.
